An excellent course for the green fees, some really stand out holes which are well designed and the course appeared to be well-maintained, the bunkers could do with some TLC as very hard packed. No rakes present so were covered in dog and shoe prints. The dog walkers just appear out of nowhere and don't stick to the bridleway. It can't be helped but I very nearly took someone out who appeared from behind a bush on the 11th. I will be back though.

Dry under foot, even with all that rain we have had. Will say that this is a good place to get your driver out on most holes, greens not fantastic but great for this time of the year.

Struggling for courses in Sheffield not having 90% temps and been playing College Pines a lot this winter because of this. But a spontaneous booking ment we tried Kilton Forest knowing it was out around the same area and hoping for dryer conditionsAnd that’s what we got! Even the first handful of holes we played in the rain the course still held up and only played off one matt with two temps all day was a testament to how well the courses in Worksop keep.Even with over 48hrs on constant rain for the condition to be like that was fantastic and with a £15 green fee this is a real gem for us Sheffield lads struggling for decent conditionsSome long-ish par 4’s make it a decent test but quite a few par 5’s make the overall scoring really good.Overall a good test for any level with good all year round conditions, will definitely be returning

Nice course, nice price and in decent condition for the time of year. My only bug bear was pace of play. Queue on first tee which resulted in 2 1/2 hours to play the front 9

Not played it for a few years but still the same pretty dry for the time of year after the weather we’ve had but in need of some TLC fairways and greens ok but bunkers are terrible don’t look like they’ve been raked in 10 years and no rakes around on the course some full of weeds and grass it’s a shame because they are really in some great positions just a little more upkeep and would be even better

Well what a suprise it was , lovely course layout, well maintained and cared for, very dry unlike a lot of other courses ,greens putted very true and club house staff absolutely superb, couldn't fault the place and would recommend playing it, I'm thinking of leaving my club and joining I enjoyed it that much

Great course for the price.A couple of the greens were a little patchy, but nothing serious.Definitely worth a visit at £20 ....Recently revised this course when everywhere else was under water, and it was really dry, great place to play in winter.

This course has slowly matured since it officially opened in 1978. There are more bushes and trees now but fewer bunkers. On sandy soil so there is no trouble with becoming waterlogged and the greenkeeping has improved. Very wide fairways makes it ideal for people just taking up the game or for golfers who struggle with hitting it straight.

had never played here before today, i become a member at hillies golf course and you get kilton included too wasnt sure on what to expect as some reviews make it seem a little dodgy, DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!yes there is the odd dog walker but there is specific paths wich they generally do stick to wich you see on alot of courses over the country this course is in immaculate condition! staff was very friendly and helpfull to get me on my way for my first time!! credit to the green staff who was up and down making everything tip top!! will highly recommend and cant wait for the next 18!🏌️‍♂️

A great course layout. Some fantastic yet challenging holes. The short par 3 is very tricky and not to be taken lightly. Greens and tees weren't great but at this time of year it's to be expected. Good value for money with friendly and helpful staff.
